Co-Founder, CEO
With 15 years of experience in clinical research, including over a decade in business development, Wayne is a commanding sales professional. As both a player and a coach, he has successfully managed and driven sales within organizations offering traditional CRO services, virtual trials services (telehealth, virtual site operations), modern SaaS solutions (ePRO, EDC, etc.), and much more. He leverages a vast network of contacts, colleagues and friends in the clinical trials industry, and has been recognized as a leader in solutions-focused selling in the space.
In addition to his sales experience, Wayne also possesses hands-on experience in clinical trial operations at a CRO, and leverages a strong scientific background in academic research. This combination of deep operational and scientific knowledge allows him to better connect to potential customers in need of solutions to their most pressing day to day challenges.
In his prior roles, Wayne has scaled sales organizations from scratch, and driven up to 10x bookings growth. His consultative, engaging and inquisitive nature makes him especially effective in the high-trust, complex ecosystem of clinical trial solutions. With over 14 years of research experience and a PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry, Marc is an accomplished commercial operations, business development, and corporate development executive. As the co-founder and COO of Sapiens, Marc brings extensive expertise and a proven track record of driving sales and growth for small and mid-size companies in the clinical trials and research ecosystem.
Marc has successfully led organizations to increased business through improved sales processes, strategic partnerships, and critical relationships. He has secured record deals, expanded new verticals, and established new business divisions with tailored sales strategies.
